Services & Supply
| | Unlike other paving contractors, American Asphalt does much more than arrive at the site with hot mix on paving day. Planning the job, referencing grades, ordering inspections, “proof rolling” the site, completing the grading, manufacturing the product, compacting and striping are all part of the paving service. The company’s highly skilled and experienced staff, including foremen that are all New Jersey State certified asphalt paving technologists, plan and handle every detail of the project. The team’s unique services prevent frustration, miscommunication and wasted worker-hours which saves customer dollars.
American Asphalt measures the proposed job and utilizes the latest technology for fast and accurate estimates including all costs incurred to complete projects correctly the first time with no underbidding or post construction extras.
American Asphalt’s extensive experience has most recently enabled the formation of its Site Contracting Division. Building on many years of pipe, concrete curb, sidewalk, fencing, striping and excavation work for municipalities, American Asphalt now provides these services to all of its customers. The most significant benefit of hiring American Asphalt is the knowledge that all work will be coordinated and completed under one comprehensive contract.
American Asphalt Company maintains two modern asphalt plants; one located off the Black Horse Pike in Haddon Township, near the Camden County/Gloucester County boundary line, and one located in Burlington Township, Burlington County off Route 130. Offering trucking services, preloaded silos which save trucking costs, no cost truck release spray and daily rental rates on milling machines, the plants accommodate customers in every way.
At 700 tons per hour, American Asphalt manufactures hot mix asphalt at a rate that guarantees jobs will be supplied when you the material is needed. In addition, insulated and heated storage silos on-site enable storing of hot mix overnight for quick loading early every weekday morning.
Asphalt deterioration is primarily caused by weathering, oxidation and the destructive effects of petroleum products. Since an effective preventative maintenance program can increase the lifespan of asphalt significantly, American Asphalt offers extended warranties, sweeping, filling cracks, seal coating and striping.
