Russ started his asphalt career in 1986 working with a small driveway paving company. The owner of that company was hired by Bob Brown to be a Foreman for AAC. Bob Brown hired Russ as well and he has been an integral part of American Asphalt. Russ started as a laborer, then became a paver operator. He eventually worked his way up to Foreman, then Superintendent. Russ is responsible for company safety training for crews, and has received Associated Builders and Contractors Gold Level Step Award, as well as the Utility Transportation Contractors Association Safety Award.
Frank is responsible for logistics, moving the company paver, milling machines, grades, dozers, backhoes, and support equipment to arrive at each job as is needed.
Paul has 40 years-experience in construction industry. He started with American Asphalt as superintendent March 2012 and his main responsibility is supervising our public road paving programs.
Robert A. Moncrief
Robert A. Moncrief, Sr. joined American Asphalt Company in 1997. Bob has 36 years’ experience in the construction industry. He has extensive field experience and is well versed in all aspects of construction projects. Bob oversees all of our projects from start to finish and ensures that each job is completed accurately and in a timely fashion. Bob’s knowledge of asphalt specifications and asphalt construction keeps our customers jobs built correctly for long term service. Bob is a key player in onboarding new field employee’s and managing our multiple crews for job specific size and expertise.
